I’ve been photographing families since the early 2000's, but began my photography business when I was pregnant with my first baby.
Nearly two decades later, newborn photography is still at the heart of what I do.
I’ve also worked as a nanny and childcare worker, and I’m a mum of 3. That experience has taught me something that can’t be learned from a posing guide:
babies are unpredictable and that’s perfectly okay.
Every newborn is different.
Some babies sleep through their entire session. Some want to be held. Some need constant feeding and settling. Some babies simply don’t want to cooperate with our plans!
There is no pressure to make your baby fit the session.
Instead, the session fits around your baby.
Safety, patience and gentleness always come first.

I’ve put a lot of thought into creating a dedicated studio space where families can slow down, settle in and feel comfortable.
It isn’t simply a small room in my home with a backdrop set up for photos.
It’s a space designed specifically for the families who come through my door.
Warm, comfortable and calm, with everything we need for your session.
There is a client wardrobe available for mums, dads, babies and children, so you don’t have to spend hours wondering what everyone should wear.
There are little comforts for parents, somewhere to make a coffee, snacks and a space where you can simply relax while I take care of the rest.

And when everyone feels safe and relaxed, the photographs become so much more natural.
